But it did not end there. Having started her own family as a single mother, Diane well understood the obstacles that non-traditional families, in particular, can face. She recognized a need a need for quality service to help those building families through non-traditional means. She therefore founded Creative Family Connections, and she did so on the principle that everyone can build a family. True to this founding principle, from its inception the firm has welcomed and helped not only prospective parents who are traditional couples, but also prospective parents who are single and gay, to build their families -- and to achieve their dreams -- by non-traditional means. Creative Family Connections remains true to that founding principle today.

As demand for their services grew, Diane expanded the firm. First, Diane added a Law Partner, Linda ReVeal, and then a Case Manager, Amy Meyer.

Today, about half of Creative Family Connections' clients are starting non-traditional families -- as single families or as same-sex couples. The other half are traditional couples. Of those, there is a mix of clients who need egg donors, gestational surrogates, or both. Because we are attorneys, Creative Family Connections is also pleased to take cases where clients have their own surrogates or egg donors and ask us to be their legal representatives. In addition, Creative Family Connections has represented clients in matters involving Embryo Adoption. And in some cases we represent the Gestational Surrogate.

Over the years, our team has grown, but gradually, so that we can continue to give individualized attention and exemplary service -- both to our donors and surrogates, and to every one of our clients. It is our hallmark and it makes us who we are.
